One of my all-time favourite movies. A nihilistic piece of cinema from the backyards of America with a fantastic cast and an excellent performance by Dennis Hopper both in front and behind the camera. For some reason, this movie never really got a proper release back in the old days, but is today somewhat of a cult-item.

I'm sorry to say that this is some sort of a TV rip with very bad quality. It seems to have been filmed off the screen, with what seems to be Norweigan subtitles.
But this is the only available version out there, and also it seems to be the longest one, running up toward 123 minutes rather than 104 as stated on IMDB. This is probably a result of that the person who recorded this off the TV also included the commercials, or a following show. I'm not sure since I haven't seen it yet.

Description: At a boarding school in the pre-war Austro-Hungarian Empire, a pair of students torture one of their fellow classmates, Basini, who has been caught stealing money from one of the two. The two decide that rather than turn Basini in to the school authorities, they will punish him themselves and proceed to torture, degrade, and humiliate the boy, with ever-increasing sadistic delight. As each day passes, the two boys are able to justify harsher treatment than previously given.
