Which does make this stuff awesome but if your working in SD you will want to look at some down-converting tutorials.

To give you a hand...

Europe & rest of world would be DV-PAL, leave the res (screen size the same)

USA (yup they had to have a format of their very own) DV-NTSC, leave res the same.

You may find you need to scale it, depending on your project something like 1024x576 for widescreen proper I think.
