GREAT catchy pop songs from Yorkshire guitar band Last Gang

The indie alternatives hail from Wakefield and are: Kristan
Walker � vocals/guitar; Ritchie Townend � guitar/vocals; Maff
Smith � bass guitar/vocals and Matt Knee � drums.
Last Gang offers further proof of the wealth of talent
beavering away in practice rooms in the north.
Kristian and Ritchie are old school friends, who used to go
around to one another�s houses listening to old classic albums
of the time, thought they had some great ideas of their own.
Matt and Maff soon joined, and Last Gang was formed late last
year.
They write tunes with instant and insistent hooks, songs which
will stay in your head all day.
Their influences betray a fine taste in music. Kristian�s
endearing vocals bring to mind the Clash�s Mick Jones while
their spiky, confident thrashing displays the same deliciously
jagged nu-new wave guitar chops of early Talking Heads or The
Subways, and their irresistibly spunky songs supply you with
same singalong pop thrills as The Buzzcocks.
