ok guys, this is my first up. constructive criticism and general comments are welcome and appreciated
this one is dedicated to NLS666, whom i thank for the heads-up on the dvd->mp4 ripper known as handbrake, when nobody in irc could help me. greets
handbrake settings were "normal": h.264 video and aac audio and the resulting file is in a mp4 container - as that's what it actually is
the original disc is presented in 1.78:1 widescreen pal all-region standard and the resulting output is not altered, due to "automatic" settings within handbrake
what is it?
main feature only
then, what's missing?
33mins bonus footage - a fair sized chunk of which is about the soundtrack composer; subtitles; background story bonus booklet <- that's a physical thing and doesn't really count
enjoy

pass:
[somewhat irrelevant] background:-
saw these guys in bristol in '88 and it remains in my memorable gigs list: passionate chaos before health and safety, laws and lawyers and kids who don't know how to enjoy themselves. they played loud, clean and tight. a fantastic vibe
saw them again on the very tour depicted, at alexandra palace in london, with my then girlfriend who missed them the first time around
we split
i got the dvd
i had my life changed forever* by a violent [gutless] gang of "modern society" street youths and she came to see me again for (what would be) the last time
we watched the vid curled up on the living room floor
when she left my landlord said we still looked like a couple
i will probably always miss her
*anosmia: hence me being prone to nostalgia. i once lived and loved all the important (and predominantly free) things in life
take care of yourselves and each other,
