For over 2,000 years, the legend of the beautiful queen of the Nile has stirred the imagination.
Ascending to the throne at a mere 17 years of age, Cleopatra ruled as Egypt last Pharaoh for 22 years, easily winning the heart of Julius Caesar.
They embark on a 2 month voyage down the Nile and quickly become devoted to each other.
She bears him a child called Cesarion, which will be one of the motif to assassinate Caesar by a group of traitor Senators.
His death devastates Cleopatra, in her grief, she turns to Marc Anthony.
Their alliance anger Romans even more and Octavius (future emperor Augustus) declares war.
Cleopatra and Marc Anthony fate is doomed.
