Jeremy Clarkson - Thriller
Welcome to my all new DVD Thriller, which, as the name suggests, is all about thrills at the wheel. Aston Martin’s gentleman thug, the DBS, takes on its rivals from Italy. The lightweight Lamborghini Superleggera battles it out on the track with Ferrari’s 430 Scuderia and my test of the best takes me to the breathtaking roads of the Swiss Alps, the no limits German autobahn – and, er, Norfolk.
I swap racing overalls for camouflage uniform to join the Marines at the controls of an all-terrain Viking before using its machine gun to shoot a Lexus…in the face. The 200 mph Porsche 911 turbo struts its stuff in its natural habitat – the autobahn. And I get a lungful of turbocharged fresh air from the 240 mph Pagani Zonda Roadster F. Then there’s the rocket science – Clarkson-style – as I fit a Porsche 944 with rocket launchers (they only look like drainpipes wrapped in silver foil). I also blast fireworks at a speed camera and have a bit of an accident with a double-decker bus. I drop a 7-tonne diesel engine on to a Highways Agency traffic-womble car – doing my bit to tidy the roads…while creating the world’s fastest diesel. Plus I’m joined by tame racing driver The Stig who gets a big surprise – as do you when you see what he likes to do with sheep. And everything else explodes.

Jeremy Clarkson Supercar Showdown

This year, Clarkson has gone way out west to the United States of America to find out if there really is a decent American car! Watch the wagons roll as Clarkson has a show-down between some of the top American cars with some of the top UK and European cars!
"For my all new DVD I've come to the U.S. of America-land to find out if the country that gave us fast food and the fast buck make a decent fast car? In fact, can they make any decent cars at all?
In my quest, I pitch the best of the West against Europe's finest. The Stig's along for the ride too as we put the BMW Z4M head to head with the mighty Dodge Viper SRT 10. And the little Lotus Exige against a tuned Mustang.
I also put the 200mph Corvette Z06 through its paces alongside the Cadillac XLRV, the Ford GT and its topless cousin, the GT X1.
And then we find out what would happen in a car chase if a big American police cruiser were to set off in pursuit of an Ariel Atom. (This bit's quite short!)
There's science too, as I flood an old Jaguar and a Lincoln with water, tear two Buicks into little pieces, race a Mustang horse against a Mustang car and use high explosives to make my very own Star Spangled banger. Jeremy Clarkson - Apocalypse Clarkson
In this release, Jeremy attempts to find "the best handling car in the world, ever", in comparison to the previous editions quest to find the overall "best car in the world ever." The bulk of the release is therefore catered to this, as Jeremy, along with Tim Harvey and Richard Burns, pits 10 of what he considers the best handling cars around the track, before coming to a decision. This is one of my personal favourites out of all of his releases. As well as cheesy guitar music throughout, these releases also have an annual tradition of Clarkson destroying "some kind of awful car", which for me is always the highlight. In this instance, Jeremy destroys:
The FSO Polonez - two of these cars are put in an elaborate game of conkers, by smashing them into each other before the inevitable explosion.
The Chevrolet Corvette - chased through a desert by a helicopter gunship, which is eventually hunted down. One of his most technically spectacular feats to date.
The Lada Riva - torn in half in a quarry

Jeremy Clarkson - Meet The Neighbours
Jeremy Clarkson has really outdone himself this time. He tours the whole of Europe and gives the British perspective of everything he sees and experiences, carefully choosing the best locations and the most happening places along the way. His wit, although expected, just has to be seen to be believed. His antics include stealing a Fish from a Spanish fish market and asking the Italian Army if he could borrow one of their tanks. His perspectives are almost certainly objective and the episodes also double as a great learning experience. Documentaries have never been this fun. If you want a serious eye opener about Europe, this series is simply not to be missed. It used to air on Discovery Travel and Living.

The climb through this top 100 cars can be quite painful at times. Yet, moments like the BMW Z1, Honda S2000, and Lotus Elise comparison added a interesting twist. Three hot girls trying their best to get into the cars without giving up a gratuitous upskirt shot. So ... It's worth watching, but the list, and lack of attention to some cars will leave you dissapointed.

Jeremy Clarkson Heaven and Hell
And so, this is the big one.
I trawl the whole of cardom to bring you seven great cars and truffle the undergrowth looking for seven automotive disasters. The good ones - the Ferraris, the Porches and the Aston Martins are driven to within an inch of their lives on the track. Some are even handed over to the Stig who makes a guest appearance. The bad ones are killed. Sawn in half. Hung, drawn and quartered. They're hammered and blown to pieces with dynamite and their skeletons left in the open to rot. I even find time for a game of car jousting.
It's Heaven then, and Hell.
