Formed in 2002, 66e (formerly �The 66 electric�) are a 5-piece with members hailing from Dublin and Scotland. 66e have just released their debut album, �fall down seven times, stand up eight�
After a year spent gigging, rehearsing and writing, 2002 produced �The 66 Electric�s� first release, the critically acclaimed �I died in a movie� EP. It featured �Brown Bear�, voted one of the songs of the year by the listeners of Phantom FM. The EP also reached No. 1 in the Tower Records single chart.

Formed in 1989 in belfast during their early days they were touted a an Irish Nirvana , in fact rumour has it Cobains famous striped jumper was bought by Courtny Love off Therapy? front man Andy Cairns after a show when therapy? Suported nirvana. they weren�t a nirvana copycat at all tough just had a lot of the same influences (Big Black, Killing Joke) after 2 great very noisy ep�s (Babbyteeth and Pleasure Death) they relesed their debut album Nurse again an extremely noisy affair it sold moderaly well Its follow up Troublegum was very polished by comparision but had a rake of great tracks on it and sold over a million copies in many ways their early album pattern was a lot like nirvanas noisey messy promising debut followed by polised crossover album and then 3rd dark destory your fan base third album the difference being after Infernal Love Cairns didn�t top himself although listening to the album you sometimes wonder how its almost relentless in its misery but still a great album 4th album semi detaced was decent but then they decended into mediocrity with their last few piss-poor knuckle dragging metal by numbers.
Still they were a very good band back in the day.

After the spit of former band kerdog front man Cormac Battle formed a new band Wilt, after their previous band were accued of being overly influenced by Husker Du his new band went in a completely different direction becoming a band havaly influenced by Bob Moulds other band Sugar.

Was once voted 14th best Irish album of all time in Hot Press magazine but in reality its far better than that.
