Extract Files
Burn Image to DVD With Ultra ISO At 4 x Speed (Lowest speed is best and use the verify function)
Boot from DVD
Install without serial
Do not set a password for your user-account during setup
... have fun! No Serial and no Activation needed!
NOTE: I recommend you format the partition , then do a fresh install.. Or you could have issues later on.

Add "Take Ownership" to Explorer Right-Click Menu in Vista
Taking ownership of system files or folders in Windows Vista is not a simple task. Whether you use the GUI or the command line, it takes far too many steps.
Thankfully somebody created a registry hack that will give you a menu item for "Take Ownership" that will handle all the steps for you. (If you are the person that originally made this script, let me know and I'll give you credit)
Here's what the new right-click menu will look like after installing this registry hack.
Install:
Download and unzip the files contained in the zipfile. Double-click the InstallTakeOwnership.reg file and click through the prompts. No reboot necessary.
Uninstall:
Double-click the RemoveTakeOwnership.reg file and click through the prompts. No reboot necessary.

Add Copy To / Move To on Windows Vista Right-Click Menu
Here at geek central, we're in the business of making things as easy as possible. There's a registry hack for Windows that will let you add a Copy To Folder or Move To Folder to the right-click menu, which can be very useful when you want to move a file but don't have the other folder open already.
Right-click on a file:
And up pops a nice dialog that you can use to easily drop a file into the right directory.
Install:
Just download, unzip, and double-click on the registry files. You can choose to use the copy to, move to, or both.

Louder Vista Sounds
This is for those who think vista's sounds are just too quiet. Some are not even used by default in vista, SO this will help you know how to make extra sounds be used for certain things, and give you much louder sounds. I actually myself thought they were to quiet!

Start/Control Panel/User Accounts and Family Saftey/User Accounts/Turn This Crap Off/reboot/

Qos Packet Scheduler/Limit reservable bandwidth/enable/ set it to 0/apply ok/done
Now can can get all the bandwidth you pay for every month as windows sets aside 20% by default.

Remove Optional and Probably Unnecessary Windows Vista Components
In the never-ending quest to rid your computer of unnecessary bloat, Windows Vista has a lot less options than prior versions, but you can still get rid of some of the extra Windows components that you don't need.
Open up Control Panel and go to the Programs and Features section. Find the link for "Turn Windows features on or off" (or you could just search for it)
This dialog is quite self-explanatory� uncheck the things you don't want, and hit the OK button. Depending on the version of Vista you are running you might not see everything in the list.
Guidelines, Not Set In Stone
Just to get you started, here's a few tips on what an average user might want to enable or disable. The rules will be different for everybody, depending on your applications and needs, so don't take these as absolute.

Make A Complete PC Back Up Using Only Windows Functions:
Use Raxco PerfectDisk 2008 to defrag your disc first , It will move the MTF files to the front of the disc.. So now you can shrink your volume Without any issues. Defrag your system files and Reboot.
When you get your pc where ya want it do as follows:
Right click on Computer , Start / Computer/ Right click hit manage/ Disc Management/
Now go to start / Control Panel / BackUp Status and Configuration /
90% of PC users dont know how to do a complete PC backup.. I just read, so I hope this will save ya alot of trouble.
No third party software needed, taking up your drive space and alot of software will cause your pc not to boot..
Boot from the disk you made above , keep hitting F12 key continually , then boot from dvd rom drive. Repair your computer / then fing com/ pc backup option..
Vista Ultimate is great all it needs is some TLC with a few tweaks..
