i'll place some PSP tutorials here to fully modify your PSP in the way you want it.
If theres anything you want to change/ask about your PSP feel free to request!
(all OFW tut's also work on CFW, but all CFW tut's don't work on OFW... kindof obvious)

#001 Restore your F0 after messing it up
For all those who mess up their F0 while trying something out, here's a way that might help you out.
if you tried something out and your psp screen stays black, or freezes after you've done some things (replaced .PRX or .RCO files) in your F0 follow these steps:
-first download my original PRX an RCO's pack
-shutdown your psp (if he won't just pull out your battery for a sec)
-connect your psp to your pc using usb
-hold your R button then switch your psp back on (keep holding R)
-once your in the recovery menu go to "Advanced ->", then go to "Toggle USB (flash0)"
-now replace the RCO or PRX you've replaced earlier by my original one (that you can find in my pack you've downloaded)
-now press "Toggle USB (flash0)" again and your USB connection will be disabled
-fully shutdown your psp and switch it back on. In most of the times it should work perfectly again (if you messed up something during my topics).
*note that this is the f0 of the 5.00 software, so don't use it on earlier versions!

#002 Change the animated background waves
Here's a tutorial to change your animated waves on your psp.
We can't add waves to the psp so we have to replace the ones that are allready installed. i like hte new waves in the 5.00 software so here we are going to replace the "classic" (see background at your psp theme configuration) waves by some new ones.
-turn your psp on and press the select button
-in the VSH MENU go to USB device and set it to flash0
-now start USB connection
-open VSH then RESOURCE and then just simply place a "system_plugin_bg.rco" in that map. your pc will ask to replace the original one click yes.
-now go back on your psp (disable usb connection) and set your background to classic
-now push the select button and in the VSH MENU press "reset device"
-now your costum wave should work.
*if you want the original one back find it in my rco an pxr pack in tutorial #001(page 1)

#003 Change the original coldboot ("sony entertainment presents") into your own text
Here i'm going to teach you how to change your intro text in any text or any font you want!
*in this tutorial you'll need some software like photoshop or gimp (freeware kind of photoshop) to edit and save BMP files
-first of all download the RCO editor (version 1.15c) and the text template see downloads
-now open the template in photoshop
-paint the background black, put some text in it (don't use to much colors) and save the BMP (don't change dimentions!!!)
-now press the R button and switch on your psp (keep holding the R button)
-once your in the recovery menu go to "Advanced ->", then go to "Toggle USB (flash0)"
-now open RCO editor
-open RCO in the editor got to "your flash0 removable disk" VSH then RESOURCE and then open "opening_plugin.rco" (this might be invisible, if so go to your folder options and deselect hide systemfiles)
-now select "[MIG] text_logo" and click on replace
-now pick the BMP file you've made earlier
-close RCO editor, it should save your rco.
*if you want to replace the coldboot by the original one see tutorial #001
*i'll add an example "opening_plugin.rco" for those who don't find the original or who want to see how it works.
*you can also change your coldboot sound! see tutorial #005

#004 Convert video's to PSP MP4 format WITH subtitles (by: VINCE1993)
What do you need ?

2. Software : Total video Converter

Now when you want to convert you need your .avi (video) file and an .srt (subtitle) file.
Install Total Video Convert and install the crack. And then install the K-lite codec pack.
Now start TVC. Click on New Task and then on
Import Media Files and select the psp.
Click on (1) advanced and then you see that you can put a
subtitle in it.
Click on ... (2) to select your subtitle.
Select subtitle (3) and click on open (4).
If you have done all steps correctly you can start converting.
You may choose the quality of the movie.
Now you have to wait untill hes done converting.
When it done you can copy the movie to your psp.
In the map VIDEO on your memory card.

#005 Change coldboot sound (change the intro sound from your psp)
Ok, here i'm going to learn how to change the boring bootsound of your psp.
-first of all get a song/sound you really like (note that you can only get a piece of it: slow/old psp's about 4sec. new ones like mine about 2sec.)
i chose incredible from general levy ft. m-beat.
i had the beginning of the song in mind that goes: "wicked wicked jungle is massive"
-download and install Goldwave 2.2 (hacked by Typhoon)
-now download the atrac3 codec, unrar it, right click on "atrac3.inf" and select install
(if he says it is not regonized and blablabla by windows just proceed anyways)
the codec will now install and ask to reboot, reboot! (even if he doesn't ask to reboot, otherwise your codec won't work)
-after rebooting open Goldwave and load your song/sound an by clicking at the beginning of the part you want to use as bootsound and the end of the part then "trim" that part (one of the options in the bar above)
-now go to "file" "save as" (give it a name, doesn't matter) "type: wave (*.wav)" AND MOST IMPORTANT : "attributes: ATRAC3 132kbps STEREO"!
-the last part: download the BSR 5.0 open it and select "500"
then browse your .wav and save your .prx
-now in your psp toggle USB f0 (by holding R while switching on the psp in advanced options of the recovery menu or in the VHS menu by pressing select and picking "flash0" at USB device then turning on usb connection)
-in your f0 go to VHS then MODULE (note that this is an hidden file, in yout folder options deselect hide system files to see it)
and in the module folder place your "opening_plugin.prx" (make sure it's called so)(it will replace the original one)
-now press O to disable USB
-press select and then press reset device now your psp should reboot ant you should hear your own cool sound!

#006 Make your own .ISO/.CSO/.DAX from an UMD disk
-First of all download UMDgen V.4
-extract the folder and open the "UMDgen.exe"
-now turn on your psp and press "select", in the VSH menu select "UMD disk" as "USB device"
-in the UMDgen click open and open the removable disk (your PSP root)
-then open the ISO in that folder
-now you can do a dummy search to set dummy files to 0kb (you don't have to)
-now click Save and you can save your UMD as:
-ISO (the full fast working game, this needs the most space)
-CSO (here you can compress your game to take less space, this might make your game a bit 'laggy' if you compress it to much
-DAX same as CSO
-after saving you can close umdgen an stop the USB connection on your psp, don't forget to make your memorystick your usb device in the VHS menu again.
-now you can connect usb again and place your iso, cso or dax in your memorystickroot\ISO folder

#007 Install costum themes
-first of all find a costum theme (.ptf files NOT .CTF)(i'll give an example to download)
-then place it in your MSroot/PSP/THEME
-now stop usb connection and in settings go to theme settings then theme and install your costum theme.
*you'll need this tut for other tut's in wich we make theme's

#008 Make costum themes (.ptf)
*in this tutorial you even need PAINT!!!
*THE WALLPAPER AND PREVIEW IMAGE MIGHT NOT WORK, then use PAINT (w00t) open your wallpaper or preview image and save as 24-bit BMP.
*in this tut you will download GIMP (a photoshop alike program that can convert images in the right way to use in a costuim theme)so you really need it, but you can also make your icons with photoshop first and then open them in GIMP and convert them.
-first of all download and instal GIMP an download the costum theme converter and extract the folder
-open the themeconverter and fill in something in version, id, title
-now we're going to make your wallpaper, find or make a .BMP image in RGB color with the dimentions 480 * 272
-in the converter open wallpaper and ad your BMP
-now we're going to make your first level and category icons:
-make an icon (dimentions: 64 * 48)
-open gimp, open your icon
-now we're going to flatten your image.
-go to image, modus, indexed, pick Floyd Steinberg (normal) and convert
-now save as filetype .PNG
-do this for all your category and first level icons
-now we're going to make your SECOND level icons
- do just the same as for the first level icons but in dimention 32 * 32 (all steps also the GIMP edits)
-next thing is your preview icon
-make a nice preview icon in dimentions 16 * 16 and again do the same steps as for the first level icons
-now the preview image
-make a .BMP with dimentions 300 * 170 in RGB color
-once you've added all your icons in the converter press F5 and save
-your ready! install your theme and enjoy!

#009 Play GameBoy and GameBoy Color roms on your PSP
-first download the emulator
-place the emulator folder in your MSroot/PSP/GAME
-open the folder and in that folder you'll find a folder names games, there you can place all your .GB or GBA files (i've added some here, for more just search on the internet)
-the emulator can now be found on your psp under game, memory stick.
-when you start it youl see the games folder, press O to open it
-then pick a game and press O again to open it.
*note that you can't end the emulator by pressing home, you jsut have to shutdown your psp.
