Use the following guide & files, to enable you to run *UNSIGNED* applications on a PHYSICAL iPhone/iPod touch using firmware 2.X, without paying the $99 ADC fee. Nice.
Oh - it works - I installed GCC on my iPod, wrote a console app, then executed it; before the hack it just returned 'Killed' on the terminal... but now they work EVERY TIME!!
